HOW DO I REQUEST A COMMISSION?
Please read through this FAQ page to understand my Terms of Service
Send an email to kristenchowart@gmail.com with the following information:
1. A detailed description of what you’re looking for (Any images to help me understand what you are envisioning would also be super helpful! (vibe, pose, colour, layout, etc.))
2. Your budget
3. Your timeline
4. Await my reply! I will get back to you with a price quote and we can discuss it from there.
WHAT KIND OF COMMISSIONS CAN I REQUEST?
You can request most things! Anything close to the work I should be okay. Here’s a general list of WILL DRAWs & WON’T DRAWs:
WILL DRAW: Fan Art, Original Characters, People, Animal Traits, Landscapes, Food, and Animals/Pets
WON'T DRAW: NSFW, Heavy Gore, Furries, Mecha, and anything else I might be uncomfortable with.
HOW MUCH DOES A COMMISSION COST?
If there is no fixed price for a certain type of commission I am offering, each commission cost depends on how complex the request is and how much time I’ll need to complete it. After you give me your budget, request, and timeline, I will provide a quote for you in USD.
WHEN & WHERE DO I PAY?
My commissions are paid via PayPal. After we confirm the price (USD), I will send you an invoice with the link to my PayPal. I require 50% payment upfront, and the rest is due when the final image is finished.
HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO WAIT FOR MY COMMISSION TO BE FINISHED?
This depends on the timeline and complexity of the client’s request. Generally, please allow around 4-6 weeks for completion.
I'M ON A SHORT TIME FRAME. CAN I STILL REQUEST A COMMISSION?
Yes you can, but the cost will most likely be higher as I am setting other priorities and projects aside for your commission.
WHAT IS THE REVISION POLICY?
The drawing and revising process looks like this:
After I receive your first payment, I will get to sketching and send you the rough sketch with sample colours (if applicable). When you receive this file, you are allowed one free revision round before I start rendering it to final.
After I finish the final, you are allowed 2 free revision rounds for minor changes. After that, each additional revision round will cost $50 USD.
So, in total, you are allowed 3 free revision rounds: 1 for the sketch, and 2 for the finished.
HOW MAY I USE THE FINAL ARTWORK?
Personal commissions are for PERSONAL USE ONLY. Commercial use is if we have previously discussed and signed off on it during the requesting phase. When posting on Social Media, please credit me properly with my name/username, and a link to my profile/website. Thank you!
