Kristen is a Canadian-Chinese illustrator based in Vancouver. She recently graduated with a BFA in Illustration from Emily Carr University of Art + Design.
In her work, she loves to bring colourful stories and characters to life, often drawing inspiration from the culturally blended nature of her surroundings. She also enjoys filling worlds with light, texture, and cozy whimsy for an extra magical touch!
Other favourite themes of hers include Asian representation, slice-of-life, friendship, family, coming-of-age, food, and adventure.
When not illustrating, Kristen enjoys journaling, eating good food, watching K-dramas, and spending time with loved ones!
Her current hyperfixations are: Macu Tea, and opening blind boxes.
