Kristen is a Canadian Chinese illustrator based in Vancouver. She recently graduated with a BFA in Illustration from Emily Carr University of Art + Design.
In her work, she loves to bring colourful stories and characters to life, often drawing inspiration from the culturally blended nature of her surroundings. She also enjoys adding fantastical elements for an extra magical touch and filling worlds with light, texture, and cozy whimsy!
Some of her other favourite themes include Asian representation, slice-of-life stories, friendship & family, coming-of-age narratives, food, adventure, and wholesome romance subplots.
When not illustrating, Kristen enjoys eating pastries, settling down with a good book, and spending time with loved ones!
