HELLO!
I'm Kristen, a Canadian-born Chinese illustrator based in Vancouver. I recently graduated with a BFA in Illustration from Emily Carr University of Art + Design.
I work to bring colourful stories and characters to life, often drawing inspiration from my life and the culturally blended nature of it. I also enjoy adding fantastical elements for an extra magical touch and filling my worlds with light, texture, and various patterns.
Some of my favourite themes include: Asian representation, slice of life, cozy fantasy, friendship & family, coming of age, food, adventure, and wholesome romance!
When not immersed in illustrating, I enjoy eating pastries while settling down with a good book or K-drama, spending time with loved ones, and cuddling my two cats, Cadbury & Henry!
