I’m Kristen, a Canadian Chinese illustrator based in Vancouver. I recently graduated with a BFA in Illustration from Emily Carr University of Art + Design.
In my work, I love to bring colourful stories and characters to life, often drawing inspiration from my surroundings and their culturally blended nature. I also enjoy adding fantastical elements for an extra magical touch and filling my worlds with light, texture, and cozy whimsy!
Some other favourite themes of mine include: Asian representation, slice of life, friendship & family, coming of age, food, adventure, and wholesome romance subplots!
When not illustrating, I enjoy eating pastries, settling down with a good book, and spending time with loved ones!
